Marche les Dames

Once again meteorologists were wrong. They predicted a day of rain in the south of Belgium but it turned out to be a great day for climbing.  Today the climbing school of my club BVLV (Bergsport Vlaams Brabant) scheduled a day on the rocks of the Belgian Commando Training Centre in Marche les Dames. Great place for climbing but very worn out by the thousands of army boots that polished the rockface. But still fun to climb and fantastic for learning. Furthermore the training centre has a great Via ferrata wich of course we had to try out. Well for me it was a first and again something to get used to,but again good for the experience and great fun.

On Everest almost veryone left the mountain spending time in the Khumbu valley to strenghen for the next summit bids around may 16.
