To support the battle against Lyme disease, I will take a bite out of Lyme in Makalu Basecamp @5700 m. This will most probably be the highest byte against lyme reached on leg power.
Being a Lyme victim myself I feel connected to this initiative. We need a cure. But a cure is not all. My hope is that more lyme patients will come out of their sofa and start moving. I didn't say run, I said move. Get up and climb your own everest ! Even if that means stepping to your front door or into your backyard but start moving because this is the first step in many to come. I worked for me so why shouldn't it work for you. I didn't say that I am cured but I feel a whole lot better then before. Moreover I am climbing again, what else could be better.
